Terms of Service

Last updated: June 30, 2026

This is a plain-language Terms of Service for Codechi's VAi app, written to be easy to read. It is not legal advice. Please have it reviewed by qualified counsel before you rely on it.

These terms cover your use of VAi. By using the app, you agree to them. We have kept them as plain as we can.

What VAi is

VAi helps you log and track your spending by voice, photo, Apple Pay, and text, with an AI assistant that answers questions about your money. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account

You need an account to use VAi (or an anonymous session you can upgrade later). Please keep your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account, and for telling us if something looks wrong.

What you can do with it

We give you a limited, personal, non-commercial license to use the app, subject to these terms.

Please don't

  • Use VAi for anything unlawful or fraudulent.
  • Try to reverse engineer, disrupt, or break into the app or its systems.
  • Abuse, resell, or overload the service or its AI features.

The assistant and AI

The assistant can suggest categories, summarize your spending, and, when you confirm, create, edit, or delete transactions. AI can get things wrong, so please review what it does. You are always in control, and nothing changes without your okay.

Not financial advice

VAi is a tool to help you log and review your own spending. It does not give financial, tax, accounting, or investment advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record and for any decisions you make from it.

Third-party services

VAi relies on a few third parties to work, including Supabase, Google, and Apple. Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms.

Who owns what

The app itself, including its software, design, and content, belongs to Codechi. The data you put in is yours.

Ending things

You can stop using VAi and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the service.

As is

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Codechi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms now and then. We will change the date at the top, and continued use means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
